The Crossings at State College will provide personal care and memory care services in State College, PA. A new 112 unit senior living facility with 74 units of personal care and 38 secured units of memory care will be located on a 14.73 acre site fronting Blue Course Drive across the street from The Penn State Golf Courses. The area is heavily influenced by Penn State University, the main driver of economic growth for the region. The Facility will offer spacious living quarters in both personal care and memory care.
The Facility will benefit from being in close proximity to the Mount Nittany Medical Center, a 243 bed hospital located less than 4 miles away from the site. The hospital provides a myriad of health care services to the community including cardiovascular, oncology and rehabilitation services. As of May 5, the hospital had approximately 1,625 employees and signs of growth are evident. Recently Mount Nittany Medical Center announced plans to renovate and expand their existing facility, an indication of the growing health care needs of the community. This $20 million project is in addition to other expansion and renovation projects completed in recent years.
The Facility will be managed by Harmony Senior Services, which has an excellent record of providing superior senior living management services. Harmony currently manages ten Smith/Packett developed or acquired facilities, with more in the final stages of development and construction.
